Instructions
Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth, leaving a few small lumps for extra banana flavor.
Gradually stir in the self-rising flour until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and gently roll into balls. Lightly flour your hands if needed.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes), or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until puffed and golden.
Transfer to a wire rack or paper towel to cool slightly. Let them rest for the best texture.
Optional: Roll in cinnamon sugar, dust with powdered sugar, or drizzle with honey for extra sweetness.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or mini chocolate chips to the dough. Air frying works great too — 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
