  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low-sodium
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low-sodium
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup 1 can
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic. Sauté until translucent and fragrant.
  • Add chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, and chicken broth until smooth and glossy.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over it. Let the sauce bubble and coat the chicken.
  • Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer until chicken is fully cooked and tender, about 10 minutes. Sauce will thicken.
  • Serve chicken topped with the creamy sauce over rice, potatoes, or your favorite side.
