  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Place chicken breasts between parchment paper and gently pound to ½ inch thickness for even cooking.
  • In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, oregano (or thyme), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub each chicken breast with olive oil, then sprinkle half the seasoning on top. Flip and repeat with remaining seasoning.
  • Arrange chicken on the baking tray and bake for about 18 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

This baked chicken is perfect for wraps, salads, grain bowls, or cozy dinners. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for future meals.
