Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then pound to an even ¾-inch thickness for even cooking.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F).
  • Transfer chicken to a plate and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir well and let it simmer into a glossy glaze.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and coat well in the glaze. Simmer 2 minutes to absorb flavor.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and ginger for the best flavor. For extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Great with rice, noodles, or salad!
