Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Dish (9x13-inch)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Meat Thermometer

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts tender and juicy
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese adds a golden, flavorful crust

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly.
  • In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise (or yogurt), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer.
  • Spoon the mixture evenly over each chicken breast and spread edge to edge.
  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad. You can swap mayo for Greek yogurt, add breadcrumbs for extra crispiness, or mix Dijon mustard into the coating for a tangy kick. Let chicken rest after baking to keep it juicy.
