Creamy Coating

  • 1 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly oil or spray a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise (or yogurt), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.
  • Spread the creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The top should be golden and bubbly.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad. For a lighter version, swap mayo for Greek yogurt. Add fresh herbs or a bit of Dijon mustard for extra depth.
