Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Tongs

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs about 6-8 pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  • In a bowl or plastic bag, combine chicken thighs, salt, pepper, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Mix to coat and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken thighs in a single layer.
  • Cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes until nicely browned and caramelized.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked through.
  • Pour remaining marinade into the pan and let it bubble and reduce to a sticky glaze.
  • Toss chicken to coat in glaze. Add a splash of water if needed to loosen. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with rice, veggies, noodles, or lettuce wraps. To avoid over-thickening, thin sauce with water as needed. Don’t skip the marinade—flavor builds over time!
