Ingredients
  

  • 400 g puff pastry
  • 100 g fresh strawberries sliced
  • 100 ml whipping cream chilled
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar for sweetening cream
  • 8 tsp strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp white cocoa syrup or melted white chocolate
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar for dusting
  • melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven and roll out puff pastry on a clean surface. Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  • Brush with egg wash for shine, then bake on a parchment-lined tray until puffed and golden brown.
  • While cooling, whip cream with icing sugar until soft peaks form. Fold in white cocoa syrup.
  • Once pastry has cooled, slice each piece open. Spread a teaspoon of strawberry jam inside.
  • Add whipped cream and top with sliced strawberries.
  • Close the top, dust with icing sugar, and drizzle with melted chocolate just before serving.

Notes

For extra flair, top with edible flowers or mint leaves before serving.
